Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Vegan & Dairy-Free
  • Naturally Sweet with No Added Sugar
  • Made with our very own Drinking Chocolate Powder
  • Ideal for Hot Afternoons or Post-School Pick-Me-Ups
  • Full of Antioxidants & Healthy Energy

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 scoop (around 20g) our Drinking Chocolate powder

  • A splash of water (optional, to thin if needed)

  • A large handful of fresh blueberries

Method

1. Blend the chocolate drizzle
Peel the banana and pop it into a blender along with a generous scoop of chocolate powder. Blend until completely smooth. If the mixture feels too thick (this can depend on how ripe your banana is), simply add a splash of water until you get a pourable, but still creamy, consistency.

2. Arrange the blueberries
On a parchment-lined tray, place your fresh blueberries in two neat rows of four to form your snack ‘bars’. You can also get creative and make little bite-sized clusters if you prefer.

3. Drizzle & coat
Spoon or drizzle the banana-chocolate mixture generously over the blueberries, ensuring they are well covered whilst keeping their shape. The thick, creamy texture will hug the berries like a smooth chocolate shell.

4. Freeze until firm
Transfer the tray to the freezer and leave for 3-4 hours, or until completely set.

5. Serve & enjoy
Remove from the freezer about 5 minutes before serving, just enough time for them to soften slightly to a dreamy ice cream-like texture. Then, enjoy for a refreshing, healthy treat.

Why This Works

The frozen banana gives a luxuriously creamy texture reminiscent of ice cream, while the rich chocolatey flavour from our drinking chocolate pairs beautifully with the tart-sweet pop of blueberries. It’s a simple pleasure that delivers on taste, texture, and health benefits.
