That’s why this Summer, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the wonderful and influential people of Salcombe. What is your business called and what does it offer?
Salcombe Sea N Shore is an RYA powerboat training school, rib rides, rib coasteering, banana rides, treasure hunts, private rib charter centre.
How long have you lived/worked in Salcombe?
I've lived and worked in Salcombe for 22 years. My kids have grown up here and we feel we live in the most beautiful place in the UK. The network of friends and colleagues here is a genuine honour to be part of.
Name your favourite local beach?
My favourite beaches are Ditch End for family games and evening picnics and Smalls for winter family games.
What does Salcombe mean to you?
Salcombe, for me is where I can help provide special days out on the water for people to hold in their hearts forever with memories of being on the ocean, learning how to drive boats, experience the thrill of rib rides, seals, dolphins, lighthouses and the history of Salcombe. I simply hope people remember what a great time they had on our boats in Salcombe.
What is your favourite time of year in Salcombe?
My favourite time of year in Salcombe is September; warm seas, time with family wakeboarding and snorkeling.
What is your favourite flavour of Salcombe Dairy ice cream?
My favourite flavour of ice cream (and trust me, I've tried them all) is Honeycomb with a fudge stick in. If ever my team and I have finished a full-on day on the water, it's just so great to go get us all an ice cream, sit on the benches eating Salcombe Dairy ice cream and laughing our way through remembering our adventures that day.
