Do you buy a Christmas present for someone who loves dark chocolate?
In our shops and Christmas market chalets, good quality dark chocolate seems to be the holy grail for a lot of Christmas shoppers out hunters/gathering for something different. When buying for someone who loves dark chocolate, the best advice we can give is to always check the ingredients label of any dark chocolate you are thinking of buying.

Look for a high percentage of cocoa beans - if the chocolate is packed out with cheaper fillers such as palm oil, soya and sunflower lecithins, the cocoa content will be lower and the taste, well, lesser and greasier…

We’re proud to say that our dark (85% or 70%) chocolate bars only contain two ingredients! We are proud to use only raw cane sugar and organic, cacao nibs from Peru, fairly traded in a co-operative of farmers. The beans are grown in the rainforest alongside other indigenous plants such as banana and mango.
The earthy and fruity flavour this gives our chocolate is very different to the mass produced cocoa grown in the Ivory Coast, favoured by the big corporates.

Take a peek at these new and delectable dark chocolate treats which make lovely gifts:
