The Elves have been busy in Salcombe Dairy’s Island Street factory this December creating alchemistic new ice cream and chocolate flavours. To complement our existing Christmas bestseller portfolio of Baileys, Devon Cream, Brandy Butter as well as Christmas pudding ice creams we have launched a new Gingerbread ice cream. This festive addition to the Salcombe Dairy ice cream range is of course gluten free, nut free, egg free and made with all natural ingredients of the finest quality. Production Manager Neil Westlake comments “I’ve never known such a popular launch flavour, our Gingerbread ice cream gives a great nostalgic taste sensation to pair with Christmas deserts such as a pear frangipani tart or a boozy mince pie.” The chocolatemakers in our factory have also been busy creating new flavours for the festive season and a new limited edition Christmas Pudding Chocolate has been taste tested by customers visiting Salcombe Dairy’s Wooden Cabin at the Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market. Chocolatemaker Krys Wasilieski comments :We marinade the cacao nibs in fine brandy for three days before beginning the bean-to-bar process.
