What is it that makes a food or drink an award-winner? At the recent Food Drink Devon awards, and also the Taste of The West awards ceremonies, silver, gold and platinum awards were bestowed upon producers who purely and simply get it right with an outstanding food or drink product. It’s all about flavour - panels of judges blind taste food or drink samples, not knowing who made them or where they are made. Those achieving full marks from all tasters - and only a handful achieve this faultless score from the hundreds of entries - are awarded the coveted Platinum title. We’re proud to announce that our Evening Star luxury drinking chocolate received a platinum accolade from Food Drink Devon, as well as a special Gold finalist nomination from Taste of the West. Judges loved the intense flavour profile of chocolate resonating through this luxurious drink.
